The Verdict Is In: The Good Girl Finishes On Top

While I had fun being a bad girl and didn't look too bad doing it, I have to say that I've had more fun being good, and not to mention the boys seemed to really like the sexy little good girl outfit (there were quite a few boys playing around with the ruffles and asking to touch)! No matter how much fun it might seem like the bad girl is having, the truth is that it's so difficult and unnecessary to be bad.  I've found that the good girl, especially the one with the bad girl streak (duh, hello, did someone just call??), always ends up on top.

Being bad requires you to be in such a mental space that it can be pretty draining to keep up with it.  I'm pretty no nonsense and bad azz when it comes to my kids and family and my career and my livelihood, but as I've matured and had a lot of varying experiences and what not I've grown to love being in a good and positive space. Now don't get me wrong, homie still don't play that, but I can walk away a lot quicker and easier than I could when I was growing up.  I may be rebellious in the sense that I make my own way and don't allow for different challenges to prevent me from getting to where I want to be, but I do understand that there is a way to go about getting to where you need to be and being bad can make things way more difficult than it really has to be.  And as much as I would agree that one can't be concerned with what other people think, I do strongly believe that it's important for you to be considerate of what you are putting out there... remember, your reputation is what other people think, while your character is who you are so be conscious that you don't allow your reputation to interfere with your character.  :-)

When I first saw this dress I thought it was really cute.  I loved the mix of lace and ruffles and the nude color was perfect.  The back of the dress is also super fun and sexy with a low cut scoop back and key hole closure.  The reason why I didn't jump on it at first is because it was just cute to me on the hanger. It was missing that sexy part. Let me be honest, I have a pretty nice booty (so I hear) and I didn't want to completely cover it up.  It's not about showing it off or sticking in everybody's face, although that's pretty easy to do (this thing has a life of it's own), there are certain textures and silhouettes that can give off a fat rather than phat look and then I start feeling all crazy and wanting to get on the elliptical machine at that very moment and that can be complicated.  However, I kept looking at the dress and thinking it really is cute and I decided to just try it on and once I got it on, it was an easy yes! Although I got the good girl ruffle going on, the dress is super short and the waist is fitted so it shows off some leg and shape despite of the ruffles.

The clutch is exactly the same as the cognac leather clutch with the rust color flowers that you've seen in many other pictures, including here.  Only this one is in white leather with rosey pink flower decals.  It is, just like the other, one of those Gap purchases from that early 2000 era when things were absolutely fabulous over at the Gap and they were putting out sophisticated, high end pieces that you couldn't even find at a luxury department store (where the heck is that designer and why did they ever let them get away??!!).  The shoes are a birthday gift!! The trouble and work I had to go through to find these simple pumps, otherwise known as the coveted Pigalles, is quite ridiculous, but it worked out and happy birthday to me!!!  What do you honeeyz and boys think of the good girl outfit??!! Does she finish on top or what?
